The Police in Kamuli recently rescued five suspected thieves from an irate mob.
Angry residents wanted to kill the suspects after they were caught stealing goats, pigs and a calf during the Easter festivities.
Kamuli district police commander Fred Ssekiwere identified the suspects as Ronald Mutasa, Musa Mugwanya, a teacher of Namaganda primary school, John Musoko, of Kavule in Namasagali sub-county and Karim Waiswa of Naluwoli village, Butansi sub-county, in Kitayundwa county. Ends
