Stop enguli says Ekanya

TORORO – Tororo County MP Geoffrey Ekanya has urged the district Local Government to enact by-laws to stop the excessive drinking of the potent gin, enguli. Ekanya was on Sunday speaking on Rock Radio’s Guest of the Week programme. He said the district administration ought to do something to save the situation. “We are losing energetic people to alcohol. There is little or no food in the village granaries because there was no serious farming but drinking,” he said.
