The Kabaka’s government is to spend about sh50m to construct and refurbish the official house of the traditional sazza chief of Bulemezi (Kangaawo).
The deputy Katikkiro, Godfrey Kaaya Kavuma, who is also in charge of the construction of the house at Bbowa, said the money would also be used for renovating two other houses at the sazza headquarters.
He explained that the kingdom officials resolved that at every coronation celebration they had to make a contribution that would have an impact on the people.
This year’s tenth Kabaka Ronald Mutebi’s coronation celebration will be held at Bbowa in Bulemezi, Luweero district early August. It was resolved that celebrations should be utilised to rebuild the sazza. Ends
