TORORO — Michael Omerikol, a casual labourer at the Tororo Cement Industries, recently fell off the high towers of the new factory and died. The incident comes less than two months after a technician lost his right arm when he fell on a conveyor roller.

Women told
TORORO — The vice-president of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers, Eng. Hans Mwesigwa, has urged girls to opt for technical careers and engineering courses to enable them compete with men. Mwesigwa said last week that elsewhere in the world, women are great engineers and pilots.
