LUWEERO chairman Hajji Abdul Nadduli has criticised President Yoweri Museveni for failing to stamp out pornography from the country.
He said the situation may soon get out of hand. He said the President, despite having all the powers, was handling the issue with kid gloves.
“He is weak in fighting pornography although he is tough on many other matters,” nadduli said at the weekend during a mass in honour of Bishop Cyprian Lwanga’s pastoral visit to Katikamu Catholic parish.
He added that if pornography, which he said was amplified by the press was not controlled, there would be moral break down, adding that the future was bleak as far as morals are concerned.
He said the Red Pepper and Bukedde newspapers were the most notorious in publishing pornographic material.
