THE World Bank is to fund the repair of the 61km Busega-Mityana Road, which has outlived its economic life.
The works ministry yesterday said consultants were reviewing the design earlier done under DANIDA funding. A statement signed by J.H. Matovu for the Permanent Secretary said loan negotiations with the bank would soon begin, followed by tendering of the work.
He said in the meantime, the ministry would continue with maintaining the road.
