CRANE Bank is to launch a salary loan scheme in the next three weeks to give salaried workers access to credit, the banks’ new managing director, Robert Warlow, has announced.

Employees will be able to take loans of between one million shillings and sh10m.

Warlow and his deputy, Martin Fay, were on Thursday officially introduced to the public by the board chairman Samson Muwanguzi, at a cocktail at Kabira Country Club.

Warlow also announced the introduction of corporate and small business market scheme to cater for the business sector, and appointed Kalan who formally headed international business affairs to head the credit section.

“As expected from any new man at the top, you are going to see changes but positive changes for the bank and for Crane clients,” Warlow noted further.

“We will shortly be launching our first new product for the first new product for some time now-our salaried loan scheme is aimed at your employees which may take some pressure off you,” Warlow added.

Present were the Bank of Uganda (BOU) governer, Tumusiime Mutebile and Sudhir Ruparelia, another board member.
