LUWEERO — The Police have arrested a man who allegedly killed his four-year-old daughter and sucked her blood in a bid to get rich. Lawrence Maseruka, of Nakatovu village in Kayunga, who appeared on Bukedde’s front page on May 8, is suspected to have committed the offence on the advice of a witchdoctor.

HRMA meet
KAMPALA — Members of the Human Resource Managers’ Association (HRMA) of Uganda recently met to discuss ways of reviving the association. The meeting, at Hotel Africana, discussed issues like the association’s vision, where it aims at being recognised throughout the region.

Man rescued
MPIGI — The Police recently saved a man from being lynched by a mob suspecting him of having used witchcraft to kill his colleagues. John Baptist Lubanga, 76, of Mokokwa village, Kabulassoke sub-county, denied the allegations.
