BARCLAYS Bank (Uganda) have introduced ‘The Prestige Plus Account’ which will allow access to all the extensive benefits of Prestige membership

BARCLAYS Bank (Uganda) have introduced ‘The Prestige Plus Account’ which will allow access to all the extensive benefits of Prestige membership.
However customers who qualify, will still be offered all the features with added flexibility of a standard current account, such as a cheque book and ATM card. In addition, they will benefit from interest on credit balances, be eligible for a free overdraft buffer zone and discounted Barclayloan interest rates.
According to Tirus Mwithiga, head of retail at Barclays, "The Prestige Plus Account will serve as the new entry-level current account for the Prestige offering, and will be obtainable upon application, subject to approval," he said.
