Stanbic Bank Uganda has revamped the Nakivubo, New Taxi Park branch and cut the set minimum balance.
Kitili Mbathi, the managing director, said on Thursday, they have dropped the balance from sh100,000 for Saving Account holders to sh10,000.
“Traditionally Stanbic has dealt with the middle class and top market, but we have now changed our image to that of a universal bank, thus becoming the banker of choice for everybody. All that one needs to open a Savings Account with us now is a minimum of sh10,000. This is both for the ATM account and the Savings Account,†Mbathi said.
