KAMPALA – Mrs. Janet Museveni, wife of the President, on Friday received Dr. Bruce Wilkinson, the chairman of Global Vision Resources, based in South Africa. The organisation produces television programs and films used in the campaign to fight HIV/AIDS. Wilkinson is also the author of a series of books, like the famous “Prayer of Jabez”.

Muslims hail Kivejinja
KAMPALA – The Makerere University Muslim Students Association (MUMSA) has welcomed the recent appointment of Alhajji Kirunda Kivejinja to a ministerial position. In a statement on Friday, Mohammad Musungule, the MUMSA chairman, said Kivejinja's appointment was a blessing to the Muslim community who look at him as a source of inspiration.

Museveni thanked
MASAKA – District Movement members have thanked President Yoweri Museveni for appointing Kezimbira Miyingo as the new state minister for internal affairs. This was contained in a May 27 press release. The letter said that retaining Miyingo as a minister is a sign that the President has the district at heart.
