Coca-Cola Africa Group President, Alex Cummings, on Friday made a tour of Century Bottling plant in Kampala. He also visited Coca-Cola outlets in and around the city-centre.

Coca-Cola Africa Group President, Alex Cummings, on Friday made a tour of Century Bottling plant in Kampala. He also visited Coca-Cola outlets in and around the city-centre.
Cummings led a delegation of Coca-Cola Africa regional executives who included Bill Egbe, the regional director, East Africa and the Islands; Doug Jackson, the division president, Southern and East Africa and Martin Jensen the CEO SABCO Group. Century’s managing director, John Donnachie hosted the delegation during their short stay.
Cummings hailed the economic performance and political stability in Uganda. He said this made the country one of the best performers on the continent. He presented quality and environment awards and a $6000 cheque to Century’s Monica Tibwita.
“The people of this country should be proud of themselves since the quality we have achieved in this market is as a result of their collective effort," he told employees of the Nakawa plant on Friday.Ends
