SIR — I request your columnist, Mr John Nagenda to give his readers a break! He always wants to say something when he has nothing to say! If, for whatever reason, he is not able to write his column, nobody is going to put him to task over it but it is not necessary to give ridiculous excuses. Some two months ago, he did not write and at the end of the article which had been written by someone else, Nagenda’s excuse was that he was sorry he had not written because he had gone to South Africa to watch cricket! two weeks ago, he again gave a similar excuse. He had not written because he was in Europe tracking down China Kaitetsi! One would think he had Kaitetsi by the neck and could not let go for fear she might escape. We are not interested in his travels but even China Kaitetsi and cricket in South Africa can make articles. They would be better than lame excuses. If Nagenda has never heard of e-mail, he should always leave hard copies of his articles with the editor. John, even if you are at the North Pole, don’t worry, the New Vision will receive your articles, thanks!
