Mr Cooke heading Aga Khan schools is a relief to us!

SIR— We parents of the Aga Khan schools in Uganda are very relieved by the appointment of Mr Anthony Cooke (a well-known educationist and exemplary parent) to head the schools.<br>
SIR— We parents of the Aga Khan schools in Uganda are very relieved by the appointment of Mr Anthony Cooke (a well-known educationist and exemplary parent) to head the schools.
However, our petition (60 signatures) on February 10 to the Minister of Education to check and veto the appointment of gays from heading our institutions still stands.
Gays have no feelings for family values, and under no circumstances must they be put in charge of other people’s children.
To have had a gay employee (however educated) heading this vulnerable institution was an abuse of our trust in the Aga Khan schools.
