KAPCHORWA — The district requires sh52m to repair bridges and culverts on feeder roads that were swept by floods recently, the district engineer Albert Lachuwu has said. He said the lack of bridges limits communication to rural areas.

Police hunt
IGANGA — The Police are hunting for the driver of an omnibus that was involved in a fatal accident at Namasoga on Saturday. This follows reports that the driver, Mohammed Ali Lipya escaped unhurt leaving about 17 people dead. The district officer in charge of traffic, Andrew Ejoyat, said reports indicated that Lipya was still alive.
