THE Movement deputy director of mass mobilisation in charge of women and interest groups, Beatrice Lagada, has launched a countrywide Movement mobilisation campaign for women leaders in the sub-counties.

Lagada launched the campaign recently at Kiyindi Hall, Mukono district during the sensitisation workshop for women leaders in the district.

She said the campaign was aimed at sharing knowledge and educating women leaders on the essence of economic development.

“We have had some MPs agitating for the scrapping of the Movement Secretariat, saying it is partisan. We are not partisan at all, we educate all people without necessarily knowing their political ideology,” she said.
