SPANIARD Fernando Rueda claimed his third straight Africa Rally Championship (ARC) victory in the Castrol Zambia rally on Sunday but the battle for the coveted ARC title is likely to be settled in Uganda.
Cape Town based Rueda outpaced his close challenger Munna Singh (Subaru Impreza) to gross 30 points — 16 ahead of Munna. Veteran Satwant Singh was third.
The duo will renew rivalry in the Mountain Gorilla Rwanda rally August 1-3.
Rueda could capture the title in the Pearl of Africa Uganda rally September 5-7 if he stretches the lead in Kigali.
