This is going to be a bad week for me. Alex, that obnoxious, temperamental brute, gets to stay in the Big Brother week another two weeks?
The Big Brother nominations were officially announced Sunday by Mark Pilgrim and Alex’s name was nowhere.
Instead, Bayo (that lovable Nigerian guy), Tapuwa (whom I would say had made such a dazzling impression on us lately) and Zein (whom frankly, I do not care much about).
This Sunday, we get to watch one of them leave the Big Brother House live at 7:00pm on both M-Net and WBS TV channels. Other Housemates gave a sigh of relief on not hearing their names.
In the aftermath of the announcements, there were intriguing developments. It was hard to notice that Warona and Abby were quick to distance themselves from the nominations. Hypocrites! Those two had earlier nominated poor Tapuwa. I do not know, but I have always had a soft spot for this Zimbabwean chick. I couldn’t help noticing how everyone has always victimised her.
But, she seemed to take it all in a stride. Bayo on his side assumed a more indifferent stance. “I’m cool, I swear I’m very cool,†he bellowed, before he retired to the guys’ room, probably ponder the gravity of what had just happened. A while later, he was joined by fellow nominees Tapuwa and Zein for (probably) moral support. We can only hope Bayo does not get an emotional breakdown within the week. He has already expressed his suspicion that he knows he is not popular with anyone in BBA house. From now on, he declared he will be cooking and eating everything he wants. What does it matter if you are leaving anyway. It’s just a game after all. Wrong attitude brother!
Meanwhile, Alex had earlier got the jitters when an unidentified person got access to the Big Brother compound, just behind the fence and shouted: “Alex, you are going home!†It was Zein who tried to cool his nerves.
