GODFREY Ssali struck his season’s ninth goal as URA got maximum away points in yesterday’s Nile Special Super League action at King George stadium.
Playing against Game Boys, Ssali and Hamisi Kitagenda’s seventh strike helped URA take over the fourth position from Masaka with 38 points.
Third placed KCC and fifth placed Masaka all have the same points but are seperated by goal difference.
Kinyara won away to increase the gap between them and Top TV as the relegation battle begins in earnest.
The bottom five of the 15 teams will be relegated and Top TV is lying fifth bottom with 20 points from 22 matches.
Yesterday’s win leaves Kinyara sixth from bottom but with 29 points from 21 encounters.
In the Kakungulu Cup, Henry Kabeta struck four times to help KCC rout Wandegeya Old Timers 7-0 and book a quarterfinal berth against Masaka LC at Recreation Ground.
Rashid Kudra’s brace and Abubaker Tabula’s goal were the other efforts that helped KCC leave Nakivubo victorious.
