Arua Best Pupils Receive Prizes

THE 10 best performing pupils and three best primary schools in Arua district in 2002 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) have received cash prizes and scholastic materials.

THE 10 best performing pupils and three best primary schools in Arua district in 2002 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) have received cash prizes and scholastic materials.
The prizes were given by K. G. Adubango Construction and Engineering Works Ltd from their education reward schem, recently.
Richard Andama Ferua, the LC5 chairman handed over the prizes on July 14 at Arua Public Primary School.
The five best boys and five best five girls received sh120,000 each. The three best schools, Arua Hill Primary School, Teremunga P.S. and Arua Public School received sh0.8m sh0.3m and sh0.25m, respectively.
K. G. Adubango, the executive director of K. G. Adubango Construction and Engineering Works said next year, his firm will reward the six best girls to promote girl-child education and the number of boys will remain five.
Ferua described Adubango as “a volunteer tax payer and education promoter.
