Murtuza Dalal, the Indian Association of Uganda (IAU) chairman, told The New Vision in an interview yesterday that they are not opposed to any decision the Government may take concerning ailing former president Idi Amin, reports Geoffrey Kamali.

“In this issue, the government is the best judge. The association won’t have any objection to the decision that it will take,” he said.

Amin, now 80, is said to be admitted in the intensive care unit of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia.

There have been appeals by sections of the public and Amin’s family in Kampala to have him brought back, if possible, so that he can die at his home.
