MOSES Lumala has singled Burundian Rudy Cantanhede as the man to beat in the Mountain Gorilla Rwanda ARC this weekend.
“I don’t know about drivers from other countries but Rudy is a real threat, he knows all the roads so well,†said Lumala, as he prepared for his departure for Kigali tomorrow.
The Caltex Rally Team crew of Lumala and co-driver Moses Matovu will travel ahead of their Toyota Celica ST185 to be in time for reccing the rocky roads in the central African country.
Rwanda Automobile Club will transport cars from Kampala on Wednesday and provide accommodation.
Wycliff Bukenya (Toyota Celica ST185), Riyaz Kurji (Mitsubishi Evo7), Bob Roberts (Toyota Celica ST185), Dolly Mubarak (Nissan Pulsar) and Issa Numba (Mazda) will also compete in Rwanda.
