Nile Special Super League relegation candidates Game Boys host sam Ssimbwa’s Top TV in a Kakungulu Cup match at King George VI Memorial Stadium in Tororo today.

The match comes a couple of days after Game Boys were walloped 7-0 in a league match by defending champions SC Villa at Namboole Stadium.

In their latest encounter, Top TV beat Game Boys 2-0 at the same venue and Ssimbwa who in 1999 helped Mbale Heroes lift the Kakungulu Cup, will be eager to secure a win to advance to the last eight.

The winner in today’s tie will meet SC Villa for the newly introduced home and away format of the Kakungulu Cup.

Meanwhile, Game Boys have sacked striker Gerald Ssenkungu accusing him of inciting fellow players to throw away matches.

Hosts Bugiri Medical FC settled for a one all draw against Kumi Rangers as both sides booked quarter final slots in the Eastern Region promotional super mini-league at Bugiri.

Maji, State House and UTODA also made it to the quarter finals of the Kampala Central Super mini league.
