Nubians Are Now Ugandan!

SIR— On behalf of the Nubian Community in Uganda, I wish to express our gratitude to President Yoweri Museveni for what we have attained since the Movement came to power in 1986.

SIR— On behalf of the Nubian Community in Uganda, I wish to express our gratitude to President Yoweri Museveni for what we have attained since the Movement came to power in 1986. We are happy with him as the head of State who does not discriminate against particular tribes. Under the British, our great grandfathers served in different capacities as soldiers, policemen, etc. But it was not until Museveni came to power that Nubians were recognised as Ugandans in the Constitution.
