THE U-19 team technical committee is confident it has masterminded a strategy that should help the youngsters’ triumph in the CECAFA Youth Cup tournament that starts this weekend.

“Travelling early enough will give us enough time to recover from stress and acclimatise for the tournament,” said team coach Sam Timbe.

FUFA’s technical committee will tomorrow unveil the contingent expected to travel to Zanzibar on Wednesday for the August 16-27 tournament.

Brazilian trained tactician Timbe disclosed that he has encouraged his youthful charges not to be intimidated by the unavoidable demoralising atmosphere that will be met in their quest in the sh50m prize soccer tournament.

“The climate might not be good for us but we will not be intimidated by whatever happens. We will travel with a group of young players with plenty of talent to show and without injuries,” he said.
