Eviction Fever Takes Its Toll On BBA Housemates

once again, I am rendered powerless to comment on yesterday’s proceedings during the eviction show, let alone, the housemates who left the house. Blame it all on the way this industry works.
What I knew by yesterday though was that, from the Big Brother Africa website forum, Abby ranked high on many of the viewers’ list. Some website users felt she had cried enough and it was high time she went back home.
In the same breath, another user posted this message: “i think this girl is pretending with all her crocodile tears and she is really a snake under the green grass. If she goes this sunday (yesterday), I am sure the viewers will not miss her, but for some they will miss her sex escapade with gae. What do you think?”
Well, I think you sure have a point there. However, it is also important to understand that those very escapades made Abby that disagreeable to the majority of the viewers who detaste(d) her.
It was also my conviction that Cherise was not likely to make eviction because she seemed perhaps too popular with the viewers.
Meanwhile, the crying spree that the housemates undertook on Friday notwithstanding, things had normalised by yesterday. Housemates, including the four nominees Abby, Gaetano, Cherise and Mwisho seemed oblivious of the fact the one of them would actually leave that very evening.
In fact, on the contrary, the four housemates who were up for eviction, had vowed that they would have themselves a party because it could have been their last. Good thinking. If only they knew exactly who was leaving, it would have made things much easier.
Lovebirds, Abby and Gae, did not look as if they wanted to stir from their comfortable nest.
In some sections of Big Brother Africa fans, the leading question was what Gaetano would do without Abby or vice versa had one of the two been evicted that evening.
