THE dusty Busabala Road in Najjanankumbi, near Kampala is among the eight city roads to be tarmacked by Kampala City Council (KCC).
The repairs are separate from those to be implemented under the Kampala Urban Traffic Improvement Plan.
The other roads are Chwa II in Nakawa Division, Lungujja, Limiya, Busabala, Kitunzi-Busega, Kigala-Natete in Rubaga Division, Lukuli-Nanganda in Makindye division.
Nakivubo Channel Rehabilitation Program, is implementing the works. NCRP coordinator David Tamale Kiggundu said on Thursday that work on Chwa 11 Road, which extends up to Mbuya Barracks, had already started.
Tamale said Dott Services was contracted to tarmac the road at over sh400m. The work is expected to last for about six months.
He said bids for works on Lukuli-Nangana had been opened.
