Buzabo to partner Lumala

UPCOMING co-driver Cedric Buzabo will partner Moses Lumala in the TOTAL Pearl of Africa Uganda rally, September 5-7.

UPCOMING co-driver Cedric Buzabo will partner Moses Lumala in the TOTAL Pearl of Africa Uganda rally, September 5-7.
Buzabo will sit in for Moses Matovu who last week took up an appointment as rally deputy clerk of course.
Lumala is optimistic Buzabo will measure up to the task in the rally in which he (Lumala) could wrap up the 2003 national championship title.
Lumala leads the championship with 400 points — 80 ahead of the 2002 champion Charlie Lubega.
“It is an important rally, we will practice at high speed until we match,” Lumala, who has twice driven with Buzabo, said.
Twelve drivers from Zimbabwe, Kenya, Burundi and Uganda have so far entered the fifth round of the Africa Rally Championship (ARC) series sponsored by TOTAL (U), Speke Resort Munyonyo, Hima Cement and East African Airlines.
Registration for the event organised by Motorsport Africa Club (MOSAC) ends Saturday.
