THE Uganda National Bureau of Standards’ (UNBS) Operation Q has resumed its raids on traders dealing in substandard products, writes Peter Kauju.
The operation involves surveying markets, including major shop outlets to identify expired, underweight and adulterated consumer goods.
It also checks on manufacturers and distributors of fake and sub-standard products in the country.
Started in June, the operation has now opened regional offices throughout the country.
