THE Kayunga district woman representative, Victoria Kakoko Sebagereka, has urged journalists to fight corruption by exposing misused funds in districts.
Sebagereka was addressing journalists recently at Colline Hotel in Mukono.
She warned journalists against siding with politicians because it would destroy their objectivity.
She hailed their smartness and promised to help them in their duty of informing the society.
Mukono RDC Charles Mubiru urged journalists to work with his office in monitoring district programmes.
Mubiru urged them to report on government programmes such as universal primary education and plan for modernisation of agriculture.
He said journalists should report accurately and objectively.
The journalists were attending a two-day seminar in radio production skills organised by the Uganda Media Development Found-ation and Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
