KYAMBOGO University has revoked its decision to cancel the 2002 examination results for the Diploma in Primary Education (DEP) students.
The reinstatement of the results followed warnings from the Inspector General of Government and the decision by the over 2,000 students from the 10 National Teachers Colleges, to sue the university through Kaggwa, Sserwanga and Comapny Advocates.
The university lawyers, Kalenge, Bwanika, Kimuli & Company Advocates advised that the cancelled results be processed and approved by the university authorities and should be reinstated.
They, however, recommended that results for Nkozi and Kaliro NTCs be withheld.
A university official said a communication would be sent to the affected colleges.
He added that a date was yet to be fixed for the Nkozi and Kaliro students to retake the exams.
The results were cancelled over allegations of massive examination leakages.
