This year’s Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA)’s annual conference for member schools in East Africa is on.
AISA's stated goal is to serve the varying needs of nearly 26,000 students and over 1,500 teachers and administrators in Africa.
For administrative reasons, AISA is split into three groups; schools in East Africa, those in Southern African and lastly, West Africa.
Taking place from October 11 to 14, the conference will be hosted by member school Lincoln International School of Uganda (LISU).
East Africa member schools include 21 schools from Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Sudan Tanzania, Madagascar, Mauritius and Uganda.
Whilst the conference is intended for teachers of member schools, non affiliated schools in Kampala can also avail of the opportunity to send teachers to specific training sessions with prior arrangement with LISU.
This can be arranged through Patricia Salleh Matta or Jan Todd at LISU on (041-200374/8/9) or you can email LISU on gmail @lincoln.ac.ug
