A 12-YEAR-OLD boy is fighting for his life in hospital after he was shot in the head by a stray bullet on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in a city suburb as private security guards opened fire at suspected gangsters on Wednesday.

The guards, Sam Wetakha and David Ziraba of Saracen, were held at Old Kampala Police Station where they recorded statements and were released on police bond.

Talha Amjad, the son of Amjad Ali, the proprietor of Health Care pharmacy in the city, was shot on Martin Road while seated in a car.
