The Association of Local Authorities of Tanzania (ALAT) has lauded the successful implementation of decentralisation in Uganda.
ALAT chairman Peter Siyovelwa who led a 12-man delegation, said this during a tour of Mpumudde division in Jinja on Tuesday.
Siyovelwa said they had come to learn more about the process currently touted as a model in the region.
He said he was impressed with the process adding that Uganda had implemented it better and faster than Tanzania where it was first introduced.
