STATE minister for investment Sam Kuteesa, has said he is ready to mobilise support for President Yoweri Museveni’s candidature in 2006.
Kuteesa, who is MP for Mawogola county in Sembabule, was on Sunday addressing residents of Kibengo trading centre in Mateete sub-county.
“I am going to tell Museveni to be open about the third term because the people need his leadership,†he said.
Kuteesa said he had finalised plans to start mobilising people to back Museveni for presidency.
He said those who are trying to limit Museveni were cowards who feared to contest with him.
“The truth is that those who are opposed to President Museveni candidature for 2006, are the majority. They should respect the people’s right to have the president of their choice,†he said.
