POLICE in Iganga have arrested two women to assist them in investigations over a recent mysterious death of a pregnant woman in a traditional shrine.

Sources said the deceased, Mbwali Kate, 20, a born-again Christian with the Centre for Evangelism, had a history of miscarriages.

“She confided in a neighbour who directed her to a traditional healer in Nabukone village to block any impending miscarriage,” the source said on Monday.

She was later found dead near the shrine, sources said.
