UGANDA Breweries Limited (UBL) on Monday commissioned a new neon light visible from all corners of the city for their flagship brand, Bell Lager.

UBL public relations manager Winston Agaba said, “The light reinforces the fact Bell is the number one brand in Kampala and Uganda in general.”

The light on top of Uganda House on Kampala Road, previously had ‘You Can Tell Who Drinks Bell.’

“With the Shine On campaign, it is all about progress in life after achieving what you had been striving for. So we need to keep pace thus Shine On as you strive for beer things in life,” Agaba said.

Brenda Mbathi, the marketing director said, “This is a testimony that Bell Lager is the leading brand in Uganda. We owe it all to our consumers here and out there.”

Mbathi said from the just concluded company survey, the UBL parent company, the East African Breweries, had retain the prestigious number one position as the Most Respected Company in the region.

She said the neon light campaign was one of the largest in Africa.

She described the campaign as a landmark achievement for UBL.
