NATIONAL Insurance Corporation (NIC) Netball Club has continued to enjoy good form in their campaign to retain the East Africa netball championships.

NATIONAL Insurance Corporation (NIC) Netball Club has continued to enjoy good form in their campaign to retain the East Africa netball championships.
The defending champions leaped to the top of group A with a second win in a morning Ugandan derby against Kampala City Council (KCC) at Nakivubo yesterday.
They easily whipped KCC 55-29 to stay the only unbeaten Ugandan team after day-three of the championships.
NIC are tied with JKU of Zanzibar at the top of the group with four points. NIC however, has the advantage of meeting bottom of table Zanzibari Police Tanga before clashing in their last group match with JKU, Friday.
In a demonstration match at the same venue, Uganda’s national team the She Cranes beat South Africa 47 -43. The preliminaries continue today.
