ARUA - The RDC, Thomas Okot Nyalulu, has condemned sexual abuse and violence against women. He was speaking at a workshop against violence at Rhino refugee camp recently. He said sex should not be turned into a tool of oppression.

'More medics'
APAC - The district finance secretary, Francis Ojok Elwa, has asked the Government to allow the district to recruit more health workers in the newly-built health centres. Elwa was recently speaking during a Ministry of Health workshop at Apac Hospital.

Crops razed
MOYO - Wild animals killed livestock and destroyed crops, homes in sub-counties on the River Nile belt, the Wild Life Authority has said. The field office recently reported that hippopotamus and elephants had created panic in the residents of Itula and Dufile sub-counties for the last two weeks.
