FUFA vice-president Godfrey Kwizera was last month quoted to have said that the league’s results cannot be disputed or changed.

Kwizera gave his verdict after soccer governing body FUFA defied the ministry and NCS directive that no Ugandan club be entered into continental competition until the Stephen Kavuma probe into Uganda soccer submits its report.

CAF duly accepted FUFA’s entries, and SC Villa, who according to Kwizera are undisputed champions, and Express, undisputed Kakungulu Cup winners, were drawn yesterday.

Villa and Express were handed a potentially hazard-free passage to the third round of the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup respectively.

Villa are drawn to encounter Malawian side Bakili Bullets in the first round, first leg scheduled for March 5-7 in Lilongwe.

The winner of this encounter will engage either Zambian club Zanaco or a yet to be named Tanzanian representative in the second round to be played between April 9-11.

Express, on the other hand, will first play Ethiopia’s Coffee FC before meeting Nigeria’s Lobi Stars in the newly-formed Confederations Cup.

The competition was created after scrapping the CAF Cup and the Cup Winners Cup.
