MTN Uganda has launched a mobile tele-conferencing service called Y’ello Chat, reports Emmy Olaki.

Philip Besiimire, mtn’s public relations manager said Y’ello Chat would allow customers speak to more than two people at the same time. Besiimire said this in a statement recently.

“Pay As You Go (pre-paid) customers can initiate up to three connections at ago, while Talk Time (post paid) customers can initiate up to six connections,” Besiimire revealed.

He said a customer would be able to end each call separately and charged the normal call rates.

He said MTN customers could conduct meetings from their mobile phones if they have the same information for more than one person.

This is the latest in a series of mobile telephony innovations from the telecoms industry.
