Aldrine Nsubuga is inconsistent

EDITOR—I am happy that Aldrine Nsubuga Senior has not been named the best columnist for the year. Nsubuga is a very inconsistent columnist who actually needs to first consult his earlier articles in order to write consistently.

EDITOR—I am happy that Aldrine Nsubuga Senior has not been named the best columnist for the year. Nsubuga is a very inconsistent columnist who actually needs to first consult his earlier articles in order to write consistently.

This is in reference to his Saturday column. At one time, he is criticising the Spanish legion at Liverpool for poor performance of the club, yet he is the first person to praise them when next they get a good result.

He often contradicts himself when commenting on the ‘kids’ of Arsenal. Today he will talk of kids and tomorrow he is the very person who will say that they are mature including bringing out the statistics. One therefore is left wonder who of the two Nsubugas to believe—the former or the latter?

I wish you could start publishing his articles for the last three years (the way Sunday Vision is doing for the late Tom Rush). You would actually see the inconsistency I am talking about.

I need to be educated more about columnists. Aren’t they supposed to be impartial. I think Nsubuga should stop writing about Liverpool. The fanatic in him really comes out and makes reading a bit dull.
