EDITOR—There is a season for everything under the sun. The other day, I listened to what Shakespeare called ‘the food of life’. Jim Reeves was singing 27 songs in his golden refined crystal clear voice which lulled me to sleep.

No one can listen to Gentleman Reeves and sit still without getting involved either tapping his feet on the floor, humming, singing along or taking to the floor.
Reeves was an extreme perfectionist whose music never fades and cannot be improved upon. He cuts through all the different colours of human hearts. He taught me English better than any teacher on earth.
