As local leaders, you can organise similar workshops for the children in your village. Here is what to do:

Identify children in your village
Ask the in-charge of children and women affairs to set up a committee to visit the children’s homes and talk to parents about the workshop

Identify a school in the area and get permission to use it
If resources allow, you can hold a residential workshop, but if not, have sessions in the daytime

Draw up an agenda for the workshop and make it inclusive so that children and their parents are encouraged to come.

Include culture studies, sports, music, dance, drama and cookery
Invite reputable people to make presentations.
