“THOSE who work hard will always get good results” these were the words of Eva Kisakye who scored aggregate 12 in last year’s Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) from Mengo Senior School in Kampala district.

Kisakye who scored aggregate12 in 10 subjects says she worked hard since she joined senior one and has always led in class.

“I never wanted to disappoint my parents who sacrificed almost all what they had to ensure that I pass my exams,” said Kisakye.

Kisakye who wants to join Nabisunsa Girls’ School for her A’ levels said she will pursue Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics (PCB/M) and become a neuro surgeon.

Kisakye attributes her success to some of her former classmates whom she helped. “In class when you help other students you instead gain a lot. It helped me a great deal,” she said.

Her father is a businessman. Kisakye said she always wanted challenges.
“I have always wanted something challenging that is why I want to be a neuro surgeon and not just to follow my relative’s footsteps” says Kisakye.
