Handballers get Council boost
- National Council of Sports (NCS) has boosted the national handball team’s preparations for the Commonwealth East Africa championship with a sh1.6m offer. The assistance followed an appeal lodged by Uganda Handball Federation (UHF). Uganda will battle for honours with Tanzania, Rwanda and hosts Kenya at the event due March 26-30. This is a good boost,” (UHF) vice president Fred Mugerwa said.
