MP Tindamanyire, health centres have no drugs BUNYARUGURU county MP Gaudensio Tindamanyire, there are no drugs in health centres and the number of malaria cases is going up. What plans do you have to address these problems? Alfred Ayebazibwe
The health centre administrators have complained that they have, on several occasions asked for drugs from the National Medical Stores in vain. I have asked them to write a requisition that I will deliver myself. The rise in malaria cases is attributed to the fact that we are near the Queen Elizabeth National Park, but when we get sufficient drugs, we shall address this problem.
What is Kakooza doing about pipe water, electricity? Kabula MP James Kakooza, when will you address the problem of tap water which is on and off? When will Lyantonde get power? Joseph Kwoba
The water minister has promised to change the water pumps because by the time they were installed, the population was small. Lyantonde is already connected to the power grid and I am now focusing on Kalilo-Kinunka and Kalilo-Mpumudde. I have written to the President and the energy minister and they have promised that soon, people in those areas will have power. Tumwebaze, what is your plan for farmers? What has the Kibaale County MP done for farmers and what are his plans to fight poverty? Mercy Ninsiima
I have been in Parliament for only two years. Before I became the MP, Kibaale was neglected and had poor services. We now have pipe water and National Agricultural Advisory Services (NAADS) programmes. I have donated maize mills to about 12 women and also supplied solar panels to schools.
