Mukono Sprint excites drivers

THE CBS FM Premier Sprint at Festino Cite double track circuit in Mukono this Sunday has turned out to be a major attraction with the entry list hitting 34 drivers by yesterday. Registration is still on.

THE CBS FM Premier Sprint at Festino Cite double track circuit in Mukono this Sunday has turned out to be a major attraction with the entry list hitting 34 drivers by yesterday. Registration is still on.

Drivers want to use the sprint to test their cars ahead of the BUGMUNS/Lake View Rally in Mbarara on March 6-8.

“There are many new drivers who want to gauge themselves against seasoned competitors and this sprint is the only chance they have. Cars on the entry list are competitive, it is going to be exciting. Drivers enjoy racing on double track circuits. Nobody wants to miss out,” navigator Justin Mungoma remarked.

The sprint, organised by the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda and sponsored by CBS Radio is the opening event of the season. It will run alongside a motocross championship on the newly-constructed track.

Over 30 riders have registered for the motorcycle race.
