DR. Kato Sebbaale has won a second term of office as chairman of Uganda Cricket Association.
The elective assembly at Lugogo on Saturday also returned the entire old executive unopposed.

Returning officer Sam Walusimbi of the National Council of Sports called on the cricket leaders to avoid bickering and get united and work together.

“The challenge infront of you is to end divisions. Some of you are known for working to fail others and the national team in the past. This has to stop and we forge a way forward for the good of cricket,” said Walusimbi.

Sebbaale, in his acceptance speech, said he had brought remarkable harmony in the cricket fraternity and they were able to raise over sh20m that funded Uganda teams.

“We can not all agree on every issue, but we have to work together for the good of cricket.”
He promised to prioritise women, school cricket and taking cricket upcountry.

The executive: Sebbaale (chairman), Mukesh Shukla (vice chairman), Enock Barumba (secretary), Godfrey Zaribwende (treasurer), Davis Turinawe (organising secretary).
