We have no water in our house

EDITOR —I want to take this opportunity to commend Dr. William Muhairwe for his efforts in expanding safe water coverage in Uganda. Unfortunately, some of us are not enjoying the benefits of the expanded water coverage.
EDITOR —I want to take this opportunity to commend Dr. William Muhairwe for his efforts in expanding safe water coverage in Uganda. Unfortunately, some of us are not enjoying the benefits of the expanded water coverage.
For the last 12 years or so, we have had an uphill struggle to get a regular flow of water in our house. We are forced to take jerrycans across town to get clean water.
The cost of looking for water across town, in terms of fuel, is enormous. We reported the problem to the responsible authorities, but were informed that we could not access water because we live on a hill. However, our house in Kabale is on a higher hill, but we get water constantly.
Can you please save us and use the technology employed in Kabale so that we can enjoy this particular aspect of the NRM revolution?
